Biosensors with Boronic Acid-Based Materials as the Recognition Elements and Signal Labels

چکیده
It is of great importance to have sensitive and accurate detection cis-diol-containing biologically related substances because their important functions in the research fields metabolomics, glycomics, proteomics. Boronic acids can specifically reversibly interact with 1,2- or 1,3-diols form five six cyclic esters. Based on this unique property, boronic acid-based materials been used as synthetic receptors for specific recognition species. This review critically summarizes recent advances elements signal labels biological species, including ribonucleic acids, glycans, glycoproteins, bacteria, exosomes, tumor cells. We also address challenges future perspectives developing versatile various promising applications.
